Q&A with Erica

What do you love about your job?

I love meeting people and learning what’s most important to them when it comes to real estate. Finding the right home or the right buyer for a home is an act of love in itself- this life-changing transaction will spark years of memories and genuine connection between people, animals, and the environment. I see myself as a matchmaker in the world of real estate- a person who connects people and helps them find their way home.

Who do you most enjoy working with?

I’m excited to work with people who want to make a positive impact in their communities. Whether it’s being active in the local school district or government, or improving wildlife habitat by protecting part of their property, I truly enjoy the creative process of home selection based on a multitude of values-based factors. While real estate transactions can sometimes be seen as stressful, I like finding the fun, creativity, and positivity in each step of the process.

What is your communication style like?

I lead with curiosity in my communications, often asking questions to more deeply understand how to best serve my clients. My background in social work has trained me in having difficult conversations and to be an advocate, when needed. I am comfortable communicating with people in-person and using technology, and often find that open and frequent communication works well to maintain professional relationships.

What organizations are you involved with?

I feel it’s important to contribute to my community, and have found many ways to be involved. I’ve volunteered at my kids’ schools by serving on the Parent-Teacher Organization and Band Boosters, and have also supported our local youth sports league. I am a member of the 2025 cohort of the Elevate Englewood Leadership Academy, where I hope to learn more about my potential to serve my community. Finally, I am passionate about supporting conservation and equity efforts and currently co-lead Metro Denver Nature Alliance, whose mission is to align nature-based efforts to ensure more equitable access to nature and to promote healthy people, communities, and natural places.
