Tim grew up in Ferguson, Missouri, and graduated from St. Louis University High school and earned a Marketing degree from Missouri State University in 2006. Tim is from a family of public servants, like his father, grandfathers, brother, cousins, and uncles are firemen and police officers in the St. Louis area. He takes his knowledge and experience with public service and law enforcement very seriously and has a strong passion for working with police and firefighters.
Starting in 2000, Tim started working in sales and hasn’t looked back. In 2006, he moved to Denver as a volunteer teacher at Regis Jesuit High School. During his year of service to the Jesuit community, Tim started learning everything about Denver and prides himself on engulfing himself in the Denver lifestyle and culture, all while maintaining his St. Louis roots. He is keenly aware of the struggles and excitement of moving to the “mile high city.” After volunteering, Tim went back into sales and worked at Park Meadows Mall and Southwest Plaza Mall for nearly ten years selling everything from shoes to men’s tailored clothing. After that, Tim took on the jewelry world with Denver’s “friend in the jewelry business,” Tom Shane.
Tim’s wife Jennifer is a second-grade teacher at Good Shepherd Catholic school in Denver. In 2019, they welcomed their daughter Stella and it was time for a change in careers. He engulfed himself in real estate and has been doing it full-time for over a year. Throughout the crazy 2020, Tim has learned from some of the top Real Estate Agents in Denver and has shown homes in every corner of the state. Touring homes is the top reason he got into real estate and seeing homes with him is quite an experience. He loves to mix humor and fun into any home tour and his energy and passion are infectious.
In his free time, Tim enjoys baseball, comedy, and spending time with his family. He plays inline hockey and is a casual skier. He is very involved in his community and neighborhood and loves to experience local breweries, parks, and new people.
Tim is eager to earn your business and help make the home buying and selling process easy and fun!
Q&A with Tim
1. What do you love about your job?
I love building relationships with people and learning about their life, their hopes and goals, and their family and friends. I love learning about people, as it helps me tailor their experience in buying and selling homes. I want to ensure that I match your lifestyle with your real estate goals.
2. What sets you apart from the competition?
I not only consider this a job, but I take it as a mission to get to your goals. I am very passionate about making sure you succeed in whatever your real estate goals may be; however, I like to have fun in the process. Amidst all the paperwork and deadlines, there is plenty of time for jokes, Seinfeld references, and having a good time. Most people are either passing their home onto a new person or family to make their story in it or buying a new place to add to their own story.
3. Who do you most enjoy working with?
I enjoy working with people who love to really experience Denver and all it has to offer. I like people who like to laugh and realize real estate is more than just a transaction
4. Why did you choose LUX. Denver?
I chose LUX. Denver because their approach is to learn about their clients and learn what makes them tick. The name itself implies a luxurious experience from beginning to end, and to me, that means each person I work with deserves an experience they won’t forget.
5. What organizations are you passionate about being involved with?
I love being involved with Craig Hospital, specifically the Traumatic Brain Injury patients. It is such a difficult time for the patients, but especially the family members of those patients. I also am passionate about our libraries. I spent a lot of time in libraries with my daughter and learned a lot about the people that work there and also the patrons of the libraries.
