Q&A with Jeana
1. What do you love about your job?
Serving my clients. Seeing them realize and achieve their goals, or when they see their vision come to life. In the real estate industry, things are not boring or stagnant; there are so many opportunities to learn and grow.
2. Who do you most enjoy working with?
Clients for life; the people that my business is built on and that I have worked with over the years time and again. They refer me to their friends and family and I am part of their community. This is the most enjoyable, and it’s an honor to be “their Realtor”. I value and appreciate these relationships. 1st-time buyers and the opportunity to create an excellent 1st experience. Luxury properties & new construction; to see new ideas, creative architectural designs, and decor trends is a career perk that undoubtedly is enjoyable. These clients have an eye for detail and value quality; I admire and appreciate this. When helping them sell their property or buy a home are opportunities that challenge me to be more creative, innovative, and detailed. I love the challenge. I enjoy the DIY’er and looking at homes that need renovation because I feel I can add suggestions to help buyers visualize the home’s potential if they are up for a project. Out of state clients are enjoyable because they put their trust in me to oversee what needs to be done to get a house ready for the market and oversee what they can’t; I like earning their trust and exceeding their expectations. I guess you can say I enjoy working with everyone, and that would be true!
3. What are you uniquely great at inside of your job?
Visualizing, seeing potential – in people and properties – and being encouraging. I like to help people see the possibilities and then keep them on track when they forget the big picture. I am incredibly organized and pay attention to details. I think being organized and yet creative is a good mix and allows me to wear many hats. I used to lament that I was, “a jack of all trades and master of none”, but now I celebrate this quality because it makes me valuable to my clients. Now I can honestly say “a jack of all trades and a master of some”.
4. Why did you choose LUX. Denver?
Inspiration. I like the vibe and communication. After having been at a few international companies, and running my own brokerage, I have an appreciation for the independent small brokerage that can be more innovative, nimble, and flexible in varied markets and marketing. Being able to spend money in the areas of my business that are impactful and client-based to help or benefit the consumer and grow my business is valuable. Collaborating with people where the basis is “living inspired” is an elevating experience, and extends to my client’s experience as well.
5. What is your communication style like?
It depends on the situation. I am not a long reply or a long email/text writer. The shorter the sweeter. I prefer that more communication is on the phone or in-person to avoid confusion when it matters most. This is why I prefer having an initial appointment with my clients to get to know one another and understand their needs clearly. I text and email constantly – of course – but if things get foggy or long I like to dial.
6. What are you passionate about?
Simplifying and organizing. I did the consultant training with Marie Kondo, “Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” and I love this process and helping others with it. Being a mom to my daughters; Sydney and Olivia. My Golden Retriever “Ginger” (she is my constant companion). Decor and design. Being creative. Fashion, travel, and tennis. The theater and art museums. Cooking and cooking schools. Learning & growing is a passion I hope to always have because I have an innate curiosity about so many things.
“Jeana is one of the best agents I have worked with. She has great knowledge of the market and works hard for her clients. I have been involved in many Real Estate transactions and Jeana is probably the best agent I’ve worked with.” – Brian F.
“I wouldn’t use any other realtor besides Jeana! She’s extremely knowledgeable about the Denver market, thorough, responsive, detail-oriented, and most importantly…..Always has your best interest in mind. She’s not only amazing realtor, but an amazing person and I would recommend her to anyone who’s in the market to buy a home!” – Scott A.
“Thanks so much for all your hard work, after hours of time, and honest opinions. You make the process so much easier.” Courtney S.
“I used Jeana for several transactions, both as a buyer and a seller. What I appreciated most was Jeana’s negotiating skills. She knew the things that were worth “pushing back” on and the things that weren’t. She kept the big-picture goals in mind and navigated the details to reach those goals.” – Erin J.
“My family has used Jeana to buy a condo, sell it for a profit, and buy the home we had hoped for. No job is too large or small for her. I have referred her to friends and all were very happy to have her as their agent. She treats everyone as her most important client.” – Diane H.
