Lori began helping people move to the next chapter of their lives in 2006 when she became a full time, professional Realtor. Lori’s strengths lie in helping both Buyers and Sellers focus on their true needs and preparing a game plan to get them there. Consistent, clear and candid communication is the secret to her successful relationships and repeat clients. Her advanced designations include the Certified Negotiation Expert and Residential Construction Certification.
On her off hours, Lori can be found spending time with her favorite people; Wade, her husband of 25+ years or her children Sloane and Dunham. She also enjoys time with her friends, gardening, entertaining and being outside exploring Colorado.
Q&A with Lori
1. What do you love about your job?
Because of the different personalities involved, no day or transaction is ever the same. I learn something new about people, technology, negotiating, or just a great life lesson with those whom I am fortunate to work with every day.
2. Why did you choose LUX. Denver?
I was ready for a change from my past 12-year relationship with one of the largest real estate companies in the world. I was looking for a small boutique firm that is prepared and able to adapt quickly as the market evolves, focuses on the client experience and at the end of the day is more about doing what is right rather than what made them look good.
3. What are you uniquely great at inside of your job?
I work hard to smoothly get my clients from start to finish. I find that by helping my clients know what to expect when to expect it and the options they have available as well as the pros and cons of each of their options, we have fewer surprises at the end of the journey and a more enjoyable client experience.
4. What is your communication style like?
I find that the majority of my clients appreciate the way I listen to them, being accessible and continually communicate with them.
5. What’s your favorite neighborhood in Denver?
I love Columbine Valley. It has easy access to downtown via Santa Fe and the Light Rail, great restaurants and shopping along Main Street, trails along the Platte River, endless community events, and a quick hop to the mountains. Those who live here called it our own “Mayberry”.
6. What are you passionate about?
Currently, using food as medicine. Having recently gone through a family scare of cancer, looking at what we put in our bodies daily to keep us healthy is my new mission. My husband and I love entertaining friends around a meal, so we are working on ways to do this for those we love.
7. What do you hear are the most common reasons people love working with you?
My clients share with me that I do not panic over the bumps in the road. I tell my clients not to worry until they see me worry. P.S. they will never see or hear me worry.
8. What organizations are you passionate about being involved with?
I have worked in prisons, school PTO’s, Homeless kitchens, Meals on Wheels, and single-parent facilities. My heart is pulled towards causes focusing on families, especially ones where there is only a single parent involved or where food needs are addressed.

First time home Buyer, Darren W.
“Lori was phenomenal. I told her what amenities I would like and what type of lifestyle I was looking for and she was a hawk on the listings. She was great to work with. She listened to my suggestions and wants and found the right property for me within my price range.”
Seller of his parent’s family home, Michael K.
“I can’t believe how smoothly the entire process went; from the initial presentation, preparing the home, showings, contracting and finally through the closing. Everything was handled in an enthusiastic, professional and timely manner. Their command of the marketplace and technological savvy leaves the others “in the dust.”
Downsizing Buyers, Shana & Tim J.
“We were buying a home at a time in our lives when we were not exactly sure about what kind of home we wanted or the location. Lori took the time to really help us to discover what we wanted in this next phase of our lives. Her skill level in counseling us was very significant and important in finding the perfect home in the best community. Lori’s experience and high skill during contract negotiations were top notch. Lori is a gem and made it possible for us to find our wonderful home in a fantastic neighborhood.”
