Brent grew up in a small town in North Dakota in a large family. His dad and he spent a lot of time together on home improvement projects, which shaped his love for homes, restoration, architecture, and construction. Brent studied construction at Moorhead State, played football, and ran track. He has been in Colorado since 1998 and enjoys rafting, skiing, and camping with his wife, two daughters, and son.
Brent remembers the satisfying feeling he felt when he bought my first home in Colorado. His passion for real estate is founded on the idea of helping people find the right house they can truly call home. He particularly enjoy working with first time home buyers to help them realize their dreams and work as well as working with those who are ready for the next step.
Brent’s philosophy as a realtor is to partner with home-buyers and home-sellers to achieve their goals while helping everyone maintain a level head during an emotional time. He is committed to negotiating the highest price possible, achieving the best value for a new home, and ensuring a seamless transition to a successful close.

1. What do you love about your job?
There are many aspects of my career I love including searching for homes with a broad range of modern and traditional design and architectural aspects. Above all, I love that every day, I have an opportunity to partner with great people in search of their dream home, whether they’re first-time home-buyers, upgrading, or downsizing. Being able to find homes and ideas specific to their needs is a dream come true for me.
2. What sets you apart from the competition?
My 20-year construction background paired with my passion for real estate is a key differentiator. I bring a unique ability to help my clients think beyond existing into the realm of possibility while meeting their schedule and budget needs. My efficient and honest communication approach allows me to keep the real estate process moving forward expeditiously while helping them meet their goals.
3. What do you hear are the most common reasons people love working with you?
The positive feedback I hear the most consistently is my ability to take care of logistics such as negotiating contracts and communication with other realtors and lenders “behind the scenes.” I don’t assume I know what my clients want — I learn by listening to my client’s needs, objectives, and budget expectations. I manage the communication process by keeping their needs in the forefront while working with other realtors and lenders to efficiently negotiate the best value for my clients while maintaining an emotionally-neutral environment.
4. What are you uniquely great at inside of your job?
One of my most notable qualifications is my ability to maintain level emotions in an often high-stress and emotional environment while helping my clients remain level-headed by focusing on factual information. This reinforces my ability to keep things moving forward on-schedule while keeping client objectives as the first priority.
5. What organizations are you passionate about being involved with?
I am closely integrated with my daughter’s elementary school (Homestead Elementary) and middle school (West Middle School). I serve on the Parent Teacher Community Organization (PTCO) Executive Committee and serve as the Room Parent at Homestead Elementary.
