Robert joined LUX. Denver with a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. He brings over 10 years of real estate and mortgage lending experience as well as 12 plus years of hotel management to LUX. Denver. Much of Robert’s success stems from his aspiration and motivation to create memorable, positive experiences for his clientele. Focusing on the client’s needs rather than the process has allowed for a successful and meaningful career for Robert. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, being outside and any involvement with sports.
Q&A with Robert
1. What do you love about your job?
What I love most about being a real estate agent is the interaction with those I am meeting every day. Whether it’s a client telling me their story about where they came from to their ultimate dream home goals to meeting vendors who share with me their core values and how they can be an asset to my clients. Helping a First-Time Home Buyer who thought they couldn’t afford a home and sharing their joy at the closing table truly gives me goose bumps.
2. Do you work full time as a real estate agent?
Yes. If you aren’t working full time and keeping a pulse on the market, I’m not sure you are doing the best for your clients. Our market is ever changing in all locales of Colorado. Researching daily, weekly and monthly statistics as well as pounding the pavement trying to find a home for my buyers is not a part time gig.
3. What sets you apart from the competition?
I believe my past experiences (both personal and professional) help me prove to my clients that I have THEIR best interest at hand. Be it a First-Time Home Buyer, Veteran or Professional Athlete, I have been blessed to be a part of a lot of people’s lives. I’ve working in lending for 11 years prior to becoming an agent so sharing that knowledge with a First-Time Home Buyer or Veteran is critical to setting the process on the right path. My customer service is also something my clients appreciate. Always answering my phone or e-mails in a timely manner is something I hear is what also sets me apart from most other agents. You can never forget that I work for MY CLIENTS.
4. What is your communication style like?
My communication is conducive and adaptable to my client’s needs. Whether it be via text, phone call or e-mail, I make sure it matches my client’s needs. My clients will tell you that I always answer my phone or e-mails quickly and I believe communication in a real estate transaction is the most important tool you can have.
5. What’s your favorite neighborhood in Denver?
I love all the neighborhoods in Denver. So much change is going on in each neighborhood and thriving in their own unique ways. I’m especially partial to Cherry Creek however, as I love the vibe of the restaurants, shops, biking and the homes are gorgeous!
6. What are you passionate about?
My passion lies in 3 areas.
1.) My family. I would do anything for them and I try each day to be a good role model for my two boys.
2.) Helping people. The reason I became a real estate agent is to make a positive difference in people’s lives when the purchase the biggest investment of their lives.
3.) Sports and Entertainment. I love the atmosphere of going to a game or concert and watching or listening to my favorite athletes/artists. It’s an outlet for me to play softball, attend a sports game or watch my favorite singer perform and sing along to their songs.
7. What organizations are you passionate about being involved with?
Realities for Children. I am very passionate about helping people. Especially children. As a kid growing up, I personally know from experience what it’s like to have others helping my family and myself out. If it wasn’t for nice people in the community I may never have had clothes, school supplies or even shoes to play basketball. It’s this type of experience that drives me every day to make a difference not just in my children’s life, but also the lives of children in Northern Colorado. To be able to give back to something I was personally affected by is a feeling that I can’t explain. Every person I help in the Real Estate world makes a difference in children’s lives and I couldn’t be happier about that!
