Kodie Smiley cannot claim the label of “Colorado Native;” however, after moving to the beautiful state in 2014, she has undoubtedly found home. A task that she is passionate about helping her clients do, as well. Through her career search, she has always been drawn towards humanitarian efforts. Combined with her interest in interior decorating and feng shui. Real estate was a natural fit!
She is proficient in all aspects of her job as a realtor but felt compelled to add an altruistic element to the transaction. Kodie’s clients are given a choice to dedicate 10% of all commissions to the non-profit of their choosing. This unique approach allows her clients to provide back to the community through the sale or purchase of their new home! A win-win for all!
Kodie is creative, passionate and knowledgeable. Her most prominent personal goal in real estate is to go above and beyond to make sure her client’s needs exceed their expectations. She strives to bring a human aspect back to a sometimes cold business transaction. Her clients are not just her job, they are her friends.

1. What do you love about your job?
I love connecting with people on a personal level and helping them understand the process better.
2. Do you work full-time as a real estate agent?
3. What sets you apart from the competition?
I feel that I am competent in my role as an agent as are most other agents in my field. The added donation portion for my clients sets me apart from others. My clients sell or purchase their new home and give back to their community.
4. Why did you choose LUX. Denver?
I feel that LUX embodies every aspect of a business that I believe in. It is intentional, sophisticated and progressive. I feel that all these things set successful agents apart in our industry.
5. What is your communication style like?
Very open. I’m inquisitive. I prefer an upfront and efficient approach.
6. What are you uniquely great at within of your job?
I feel that I have a good understanding and can guide clients through their documentation with ease. I feel that I create a great rapport with the other side agent and keep pleasantries throughout the process.
7. What do you hear are the most common reasons people love working with you?
That I’m informative, I never leave clients in the dark and am a pleasure to work with.
